Re-release on 180g vinyl.
The second and final album solo album from the Crazy Diamond. Produced by David Gilmour, who had replaced Barrett in Pink Floyd two years earlier, and with the help of bandmate Richard Wright. Although the improvement in the standard in production from it’s predecessor, ‘The Madcap Laughs’, were obvious, for some it meant that the Diamond’s rough edges had been smoothed out, to the album’s detriment. And yet it does have magical moments of it’s own, with ‘Dominoes’ in particular proving to be the most treasured song of all for many. Whatever your opinion, the album stands as a vital reminder of Barrett’s undoubted and unique talent as both songwriter and artist.
