Blitzed Issue 18
Welcome to the Latest Issue of Blitzed Magazine – A Special Milestone!
As the publisher of Blitzed Magazine, it gives me great pride to introduce our brand-new joint Editors, Bridget and Kurt. Taking over the reins, they’ve brought their energy and passion for synth, electronic, and new wave music to the forefront of this issue. I want to personally thank Paul Browne and the incredible team for building Blitzed into the magazine it is today. Bridget and Kurt are stepping into a strong legacy, and their fresh perspective makes this an exciting new chapter for Blitzed.
This issue is particularly special for all of us at Blitzed. Not only does it mark the debut of our new Editors, but it also features an exclusive and heartfelt interview with the legendary Gary Numan and his daughter Raven. As lifelong fans of Gary’s groundbreaking music and career, having him featured in Blitzed is a huge moment for us.
Alongside this exclusive, the issue is packed with candid interviews with icons like Jeff Wayne, Toyah, Neil Arthur, and Shed Seven, as well as rising stars Deco, Heavy Salad, VIEON, and ACTORS. There are fascinating features on Tim Muddiman, Boy George, and a spotlight on 80s fashion via the Outlaws Exhibition.
For our readers who love reviews, we’ve covered albums by Saloon, Sparks, The Cure, Tears for Fears, New Order, and more, plus books on Kate Bush and Joy Division, live music reviews, and even a DVD review.
To celebrate this milestone, we’re running exclusive competitions with amazing prizes across the magazine and our social media. Keep an eye out for your chance to win!
This issue also marks the launch of our Readers’ Think Tank. We want to hear from you! Share your thoughts, tell us what you’d love to see more of, and send in your photos with your Blitzed magazines. Email us at editor@blitzedmag.com with the subject line THINK TANK to get involved.
This is truly a standout issue, and we couldn’t be prouder of the journey Blitzed continues to take. We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.
